Ah Friday... So excited for the weekend!! What moments are you going to be collecting this weekend? Month? Year? Have you booked your own little cabin stay?

those moments when you legitimately can't see where the water touches the sky... I'm in LOOOOOVE!!! I get asked all the time if the lake is ever calm enough to even swim in.... Yes, the answer is very clearly YES!!

we added a picnic table this year...our beachfront is now so wonderful. Ready to enjoy your full day down at the beach soaking up the sun and taking a dip in the lake. I'm so excited I can barely contain myself!!!

So we did a thing.... we built this pier. It's not OVER the water but it is elevated and oh so lovely. Bria clearly loves it!! This weekend we're picking up Bria's baby fur-sister. They're going to have so much fun exploring the beach this year. I can't WAIT!!!! Follow along for more details about the pier and the new mill creek pup!!

Do we ask ourselves enough if the decisions we make are right? Do we allow ourselves the comfort of the easy path? Do we allow ourselves to hear others tell us what is right and how we should live? So we investigate? Should we investigate more? Do we look at the other side of the story? Do we allow ourselves to critically think it through? Do we have original ideas? Do we regurgitate what we hear? I think in the age of information we are continuing to polarize yet again ...into those who think and those who allow themselves to be told. I pray I continually think critically about everything I hear, see and understand. See more

What are you dreaming about? I posted a similar "dream" post last year and mentioned wanting an airstream... and now we have it. Work towards your goals, daily! If you don't start ... you'll never get there. This year we're getting a fishing boat and going to separate the airbnb listing... we're going to offer what we've been offering or we're going to offer an all inclusive experience with the airstream bunkie, the ATV and the fishing boat. You'll have the use of all the toys for the week you and your friends/family is out. Hopefully sooner than later we'll be able to look at building our Main cottage.

You know we have wood right? By all means, stop for a gas station bundle but you can buy a bundle from us instead if you need... its more value than a gas station bundle and doesn't mess up your car on the journey... Cordelia named our wood supply store... teaching the economics of rental at an early age. This is her "lemonade stand"
