Millennium Place Pool looks a little different right now! Strathcona County is taking advantage of the extra time to upgrade the boilers, change the chemical system (state of the art), paint, new sound barriers, starting blocks, new play structures and more! Re-opening is still months away.

As we begin to see facilities open and clubs returning to sport families, swimmers, club members are reminded of the following regulations set out by Alberta He...alth Services, Swim Alberta and ASSA CLUB ELIGIBILITY * Must participate in Return to Sport Webinar * Complete affiliation and supporting documents COACH ELIGIBILITY * Complete all requirements of coach compliance using the 2020 specified timeline. SWIMMER ELIGIBILITY * Born 2011 or before * Previously registered with ASSA * Sign an assumption of risk * AHS has introduced the use of Cohorts and provided guidelines which all organizations and sports bodies must follow so that we are allowed resume activity. Therefore Swimmers are only permitted to register with ONE (1) Sport or Performance Group Cohort (ei. minor soccer, summer camps, baseball , hockey (including camps) dance camps etc.) A two week gap needs to take place between Sport and Performance Cohorts. For those that are comfortable, swimmers are welcome to inquire about registration with near by communities (year round or summer club) in the event your local club chooses not to return to sport. There will be NO impact to eligibility for the 2021 season. Out of Season Restrictions will be in effect and followed beginning Sept 1, 2020 Questions?
