Everyone at Miller Goodman Dentistry wants to send you a message first of all to wish everyone good health in this crazy time of COVID-19. We wanted to reach out to all of you to say that even though we are closed for business we are always here for you to answer any questions or address any concerns that you may have. We have done our part to help during this pandemic by donating all of our PPE (masks, gowns and sanitizer) to the Collingwood General and Marine hospital and ...nursing homes. We all miss each and everyone of you and cannot wait to see you again hopefully soon. In this time of isolation where we have more time on our hands we want to remind you that this is a great time to get into the routine of regular brushing and flossing. Please stay healthy and follow the rules of social distancing and hopefully we will see each other on the other side of this virus. Love to you all from the Miller Goodman team.

To update on our previous announcement we have been notified by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons (RCDSO) that all elective or routine dental services have been suspended until May 1st until further notice. We will remain on call to provide emergency dental procedures. If you do experience an emergency please call the dental office. We will remain vigilant in checking for updates on changes to this policy and will update you as soon as more information becomes available. MillerGoodman Dentistry would like to provide you with an update on our status amidst the growing concern of the Corona Virus (COVID-19). We continue to monitor the situation closely and are following the latest guidance from federal, provincial and local health authorities. As such, we remain open to serve the regular dental needs of our patient base - and the community on an emergency basis. Nothing is more important to us than the well-being of our patients, staff and com...munity. We are currently following all best practices set out by our college and public health unit and are constantly checking for any new updates to these practices. On that note, all patients will be screened via telephone and we ask that at time of arrival for your appointment you wash your hands and rinse with an antiseptic mouth rinse. We will also be diligently disinfecting all surfaces in the waiting room and discarding of any unnecessary modes of contamination such as magazines and iPads. We ask that all patients be forthright with their state of health and travel history as this will help us screen those patients that should be rebooked. We will also be respecting any patient’s decision to rebook or cancel their appointment and would be happy to help you reschedule if you wish to do so in a timely manner. With this rapidly changing situation it is possible that more significant changes to our office will occur and we will try our best to keep our patient base and community informed of such changes.
