What a great New Years appetizer.

Another wonderful day of baking for a very special client. Enjoy our newest breakfast porridge cakes.

Of course what would dinner be like with out a beautiful sweet treat. So delicious!

Dinner is always a treat with your family and friends. This weekend a few friends joined me for a feast which comes from the roots of Israel. Zucchini, turkey burgers served with a side of sumac and lemon sauce. We also enjoyed this with a beautiful kale, Brussel sprout and greens salad with dried cranberries and a nice poppy seed dressing. Of course a nice red wine paired well with this meal.

Sunday night dinners are great when you can enjoy them with your friends and family. Tonight we enjoyed Millers Garlic Lime Fajitas with sides of sour cream and salsa, paired with a nice glass of Roscato Italian wine. #roscato Then for dessert as you all know Miller loves his sweet treats. We had these mouth watering delectable Peanut Butter cookies, And of course a shot of Baileys new Chocolate cherry liqueur. #baileys

What a beautiful time of the year. Fall has arrived and with it comes the cooler nights, the beautiful color change of many leaves on the trees and of course everything pumpkin. From our favorite muffins, breads, and cakes to the new fancy drinks at our local coffee shops. Pumpkin and the fall have become second it seems to Christmas. So for the next couple of months here at Millers Bistro, we will be whipping up a variety of pumpkin treats. Breads and muffins as well as those ever so tasty pies. Spent a wonderful couple hours picking fresh Blueberries for a variety of requested muffins, pies and sweet treats.

With the summer in full swing, many of you will notice that it is fast approaching strawberry, raspberry and blue berry season. Short as they are, they are so worth every thing made with these beautiful and highly nutritious fruits. We are taking a tour in the Fraser Valley to pick some fresh fruits when they are at their peek and then turn them into some of the most delicious home baked items yet. Another request for our famous Barbie birthday cakes. I got a call from a distressed mother who was trying to create the perfect cake for her daughters birthday. Sadly at the last minute and near tears she called me to ask for some help. After a few calming words, and a discussion on what were her daughters favorite colors along with barbie dolls I worked till the early hours of the morning to create yet another master piece. After a few cups of coffee I delivered the cake to a relieved mother who broke into tears when she saw it. Not a problem I told her, it was all my pleasure to make a memory for you and your daughter!
