MILLET! Wow! Tonight you have shown Christmas spirit like we couldn’t have imagined. You have shown the Bruun family the LOVE in the form of your driveby’s at the fire hall, your honks of support, and your open wallets to Light it up for Liam. We think that there were well over 150 vehicles that came through our parking lot, and the final tally in donations is just over $9,000!!! There were tears of joy at the firehall when we announced the numbers. ... Millet, we are humbled by your graciousness.

Our Community Relations Team wants to help spread some Holiday Happiness, so they’ll be busy decorating the firehall in the coming couple of weeks. And then on December 12th, we’ll host a socially-distant Light it Up for Liam at 6:30pm. As you will hopefully recall, FF Mark Bruun’s 1 year old son is battling a rare condition called MPS1. So, we hope you’ll load your Thermos with hot chocolate, and drive or walk by the firehall on the 12th (please wear a mask and stay socially distant if you’re on foot!), and enjoy some festive music courtesy of 387 Entertainment. While there are no strings attached, we will have a donation boot on site, with all proceeds going to Liam’s MPS1 Journey.
