The Christmas Spirt is alive in Millet . . . so many thank you's to make: 1. Millet Fire Department - for lighting up our community on a blistery night. What a generous group of volunteers and an even more generous community. They collected 2500 lbs of food, $495.00, and a mountain of toys that will bring joy to many children this Christmas 2. Griffith Scott School - their Christmas Giving program raised 270 lbs of food and toys and $100.00 3. Beef'd Sandwich Bar - for ...donating the proceeds from their Brown Bag of Giving program (ongoing until the end of the month) 4. Liquids in Motion - for their very generous donation of $750.00 5. The community of Millet - during this pandemic, you have shown your support of those that are struggling in this difficult time. Day #23 - PANCAKE SYRUP Your box should be full by now . . . you can add #24 to the box today and leave it out for the Millet Fire Department tonight between 6:30-7:30pm OR drop it off at the food bank on Saturday between 10:00-2:00.

Day #22 - TOMATO/PASTA SAUCE We are almost there folks. Only 2 days to go!! Get your boxes ready for the Millet Fire Department tomorrow night for pick up as they LIGHT UP our streets between 6:30-7:30pm. You will have to add the last item in the Reverse Advent Calendar early for them to pick up, or you can drop off your box at the Millet Community Food Bank on Saturday between 10:00-2:00pm.
