Every time I can't think of what to play, this song comes to mind. It's like a mental warm-up as it makes my thoughts flow in the right direction. Although best known as a song by 70s band "Mountain", it was written and first recorded in 1969 by Jack Bruce (lyrics by Pete Brown). Here is a piano/vocal arrangement by me. I hope you like it. Enjoy your Sunday! :) YouTube link: https://youtu.be/CdPSJGy_Clo Miloš Krsmanovi
Another amazing Wednesday night at Eastside. Performing with these musicians is such an honour. Petra Joan Donati on bass, Tom McMillan on drums and Iain McNally on guitar and me Miloš Krsmanovi on keys and vocals.
It's been wonderful performing live with many so many talented local musicians recently. Here is a cover of "Hey Joe" from last night. :) p.s. If you are not doing anything on Wednesday evenings, come to Eastside Bar & Grill from 8 to 11pm and join us on the stage or in the audience. :)
Yesterday was a fun day filled with live performances. After a day gig in Woodstock, I was enjoying some great musicianship from local fellow musicians and also had an opportunity to join some of them on stage at an open jam that took place at Eastside Bar & Grill. Here is "Tobacco Road" version from last night, with a fantastic Iain McNally on guitar and a wonderful drummer Tom McMillan. Our first time playing with each other and it doesn't sound bad, if you ask me. ;) I hope you like it too. p.s. I got so carried away that I completely forgot to play bass keys. :)
Hello friends! It's been a while... Something new and exciting for you! A close friend and a wonderful musician and composer, Marko Sinadinovi from Urvina, has invited me to bring my vocals into this project. I was very happy to do so and grateful for the opportunity. Here is the final product - Cover of "Zasto ne volim sneg", originally by a famous Serbian prog rock band "SMAK". R.M. Tocak, the legend himself, has given his permission to record it and we are very grateful. Let us know what you think!! https://youtu.be/StBgZW6H0_w
Another song from Saturday's performance at Old East 765: "Can't You See" by The Marshall Tucker Band. :) Miloš Krsmanovi
A live performance last night, after a very long time. It felt good. Thank you Old East 765 for supporting live music and keeping the scene alive! Miloš Krsmanovi
ON THIS DAY, in 2017, I woke up from a coma. ON THIS DAY in 2019, I wrote a song about it. Most people don’t know this story and it’s not that it has to be public knowledge, but I feel that it is the right time to share it with everyone, as it will shed light on who I am today, as a person and as an artist. Four years ago, I woke up from a coma, in a hospital in Novi Sad, Serbia. I didn’t know where I was, why I was there, what was happening around me. I didn’t know which day...Continue reading
It was a great honor to perform with Alen Zivanovic on his song, dedicated to a friend, who passed away a couple of weeks ago. This is a fantastic composition with amazing, heartfelt lyrics. "Pain is real and so is loss, it won't fit a simple verse" Andrej would be proud to see he has such wonderful friends who honor him this way.
At Rock Dijaspora Fest 2 - February 8th, 2020 The Rockpile, Toronto I miss performing live... Hopefully, soon! :)
This is one of those spontaneous musical "workouts" Milos starts his day with. It was just a simple phone voice recording, but I liked it so much that I decided to share it with others. Pure, raw sound and emotion... Hope you like it too! :) JEFFERSON AIRPLANE - TODAY (Cover) Mirjana YouTube link: https://youtu.be/tUXO1oD_gU0 Miloš Krsmanovi
This past year has been tough for everyone, all around the world. We've all realized what we value in life and what we have a hard time living without. As a musician and a music lover, I must say a year without live performances, both my own and by other musicians has been extremely difficult. Here is hoping that 2021 will bring us good health, freedom, peace, love and light and that music will come to life once again and save us! HAPPY NEW YEAR and thank you all for your support, dear friends!!
As a lifelong Bowie fan, I always feel compelled to sing Bowie's songs. This song, from his 2nd album, was a big challenge, but also an enjoyable, fun and emotional experience. Hope you enjoy it too! Miloš Krsmanovi YouTube link: https://youtu.be/t3OcSeUzB8o
