Alert! This is NOT a brag or self edification post! It's just to share where out heart is! One of the values of MHOP is: "We pray what we are willing to ACT on !" Another value: We pray for unity of the church in Milton." And we have prayed for 35 churches we "found" in Milton. We bless them in general but we also have prayed specific prayers as we learn the needs of the churches in Milton. And now we have started to bless them in a practical way as well ! For example, tod...ay we helped two pastor families from different churches in Milton ! We blessed their ministry in our region and we said they are welcome here in this town! Be blessed! We want to do more!

How important is prayer for you? Really ! Not what you THINK it is, but actually what it is! Colossians 4:2-18 God also used Paul’s prayers to change the world. Here is another challenge to our priorities. He writes, ‘Devote yourselves to prayer’ (v.2). The world considers prayer a complete waste of time. Paul saw it as the highest priority of our lives. He commends Epaphras because he is ‘always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mat...ure and fully assured’ (v.12). Paul wants his readers to pray that ‘God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should’ (vv.34). Here is yet another challenge to our priorities. Paul does not want them to pray for large crowds to come and hear him rather he prays that he may proclaim the message clearly. Paul doesn’t want them to pray for an open door to the prison, but an open door for the message of the gospel to be proclaimed. Rather than looking to the future when you might be in a better situation in which to serve God, focus on how you can serve God in the present, whatever your situation. Lord, help me to get my priorities right to devote myself to prayer and proclamation whatever my circumstances. Give me wisdom today to know when to speak, what to say and how to say it. Here at MHOP, we intercede for all the churches in Milton ! We pray for unity! We pray for justice ! We pray for the gospel to be successfully proclaimed! We pray for the second coming of Jesus! We pray for Israel! We pray for all leaders and pastors of Milton. We pray for families to be restored! We pray for the next generation! We pray because we believe this is the best we can do to advance the Kingdom of God. We pray for Heaven come to Earth! In Jesus name we pray! Amen !

"Lord, make me a house of prayer!"

Isaiah 65:17-25 17 See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered,... nor will they come to mind. 18 But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy. 19 I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more. 20 Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years; the one who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere child; the one who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed. 21 They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit. 22 No longer will they build houses and others live in them, or plant and others eat. For as the days of a tree, so will be the days of my people; my chosen ones will long enjoy the work of their hands. 23 They will not labor in vain, nor will they bear children doomed to misfortune; for they will be a people blessed by the Lord, they and their descendants with them. 24 Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear. 25 The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, and dust will be the serpent’s food. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, says the Lord." Thank you God because you WILL reign forever! Thank you because the chaos, the pain, death of children, death in general, crying, sorrow, violence, injustice will all end! Thank you because all your promises will be fulfilled! Thank you for the hope in your promises! Help me hold fast to this hope that one day I'll be enjoying all these things mentioned in Isaiah 65.

Isaiah 53:3-5,7-8 "He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the sl...aughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken." Jesus went through all the suffering so we could have life ! So we could be healed ! So our generational iniquities could be stopped at the cross ! Jesus ignored all the accusations and carried on with His mission! He didn't get distracted by what others thought of Him. He fulfilled His purpose on Earth. He responded to hate with love ! He responded to apathy, ignorance, and despise by giving all attention to us, and ultimately by giving His life for us. Jesus, Thank you for not giving up on us! Thank you for carrying on with your call even though we treated you worse than garbage and worse than the worst of criminals ! Thank you for dying like a lamb ! Help me to carry on my mission and my purpose on Earth and not get distracted by what others think of me. Give me strength, through the Holy Spirit, to accomplish all that you have for me. Help all the saints in Milton to carry on their calling! Help your church to stay focused in you as you stayed focused in the Father ! Help unbelievers to understand this truth and be saved ! Soften the hearts of those who are ignoring you ! Take the scales of their eyes off! Bring salvation to Milton Lord ! Reveal this truth of Isaiah 53 in Milton! In Your name I pray. Amen !
