LAST CALL! Heads up parents of Milton with students 16-18 yrs. old. TODAY at 6 pm is the last day Milton Rotary is taking applications for our FREE virtual Adventures in Citizenship program. This annual event provides a unique opportunity for a selected group of young Canadians to come together to gain a better understanding of our country. Through meetings with political leaders, senior officials and others, they learn a great deal about the workings of our democratic institutions. Through meeting one another and having discussions among themselves, they learn to appreciate the diversity of Canada and the privileges and responsibilities of Canadian citizenship. PM MILTON ROTARY TO APPLY!
Diversity is in Rotary's DNA.

All Guests Welcome! During January, Rotarians are encouraged to focus on Vocational Service. Discussions on this important avenue of Rotary service can lead to projects that not only develop the ethical consciousness and vocational skills of Rotarians but also the talents within their communities. Vocational Service focuses on: -Adherence to and promotion of the highest ethical standards in all occupations, including fair treatment of employers, employees, associates, competi...tors, and the public. -The recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, not just those that are pursued by Rotarians. -The contribution of your vocational talents to solving the problems of society and meeting the needs of the community. We are honoured to have PDG Tony Sheard present to us the meaning of Vocational Service. Please message us in advance for Zoom log-in details.

Did you know the Milton District Hospital Foundation recently held a successful drive-in movie fundraiser that included a food drive last month? Milton Rotarian Ries Boers picked up the donations from MDHF's Vanessa here and Rotary delivered the items to Salvation Army Khi Community. If you're thinking of donating at the end of the year, here are three great local charities working together that you might consider.
