It appears that Wednesday February 17th we can get back into our sport with similar restrictions we had before. The three health areas that were opened up were allowed to open in the green colour code. We have to open up in the orange. Wednesday morning the doors will revert to the code(s) that were given to you prior to this closing. Also attached is the document ‘How to Use ranges & hygiene'. Restrictions for Indoors:... - limit capacity so guests can stay at least 2 metres apart, - make sure anyone indoors wears a mask or face covering, including workers who have to come within 2 metres of anyone else What that means to us in the indoor range 5 people maximum, 3 at the shooting ports & 2 observers. Another 5 can be in the meeting area (spread out 2 meters). ALL must be wearing masks. These areas have a small square footage area so we have to abide by the 2 meter distancing. Restrictions for Outdoors: - 2 meter distancing, if closer masks must be worn. Guest Restrictions: Same as indoors (above) & give their name and contact information. To clarify on a situation that happened previously at the club: - each family member counts as an individual. If someone is at the indoor range, by themselves, then a family of 3 show up, only two of the family members can use the 2 open ports & the other family member has to wait. Map Reading & Land Navigation Registration for our land nav class, scheduled for February 20th and 21st, goes live tonight! This 2 day class will entail 1 day o...f classroom work, and 1 day of practical application outside, in the field. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate, and the much coveted vegvisir (viking compass) patch to help guide them in future adventures!
