Well two months later and we continue to be very cautious. Our club is no different. In the past three months we have seen cancelled our spaghetti dinners, a district convention, our yard sale and multiple meetings. But our members continue to be in contact with each other through there emails, phone calls or chance passing by's. Our short term future is still very cloudy. We know that Canada day and our bbq is out of the equation. we have postponed our July Golf tourname...nt and our food drive that we have against our twin club in Post Falls Idaho. But we are not down and out. We still have a couple other ideas on the table to run with. The Minden Lions Club has been a little quiet lately like everyone else. but that didn't stop us from helping out the best that we can. Especially when it comes to needing stuff. The food bank is being swamped with the damage that COVID -19 is doing. This week we gave them $1000 to help. If you are in position to financially help. Now is a great time.

The Minden Lion Club have decided to cancel our upcoming Spaghetti Dinner scheduled for Friday March 20th. With many of our patrons in the identified age group... who are most at risk, we belief that this was necessary precaution. We thank all for your support, and hope to back on schedule in April. Another Halloween has come and gone and the Lions hall was humming away with hot dogs hot chocolate and candies for all. The rain did a great job of backing off . Get ready for next year as it is a Saturday night folks.

The Minden Club last year made a three year commitment to Point In Time to help with there Thursday evening Family event held at Archie Stouffer School from 6-8 pm. Free for all the families that participate, includes dinner activity and gym time. Lots of fun... Here is 1st vice president Scott handing over this years installment to Erin and LIsa.
