We're so so close to being ready to open up pre-orders for our NEW summer craft kit series! The excitement can hardly be contained after today's outdoor photoshoot. Taking photos in natural light is such a pleasure and it's so exciting to see so many months of work come together and prepare for its debut to the world! Very soon! Here is also a behind the scenes shot of our super glamorous photography studio. We'll be posting more frequently in the coming weeks as we share ...more behind the scenes footage as we enter the final weeks of production which means many days of filming, editing, and of course packaging all the kit materials too! We hope you'll join us on this next adventure in making. #workinginapandemic #craftkits #diy #makermagickit #mindfulmakers #smallbusiness #kitchener #waterloo #KWAwesome

Happy Belated Earth Day Today we took some time to finish up the final touches on our Curbside Pickup Box. These included not only trimming down the door because we forgot to leave enough clearance on the bottom (enter: track saw to the rescue), but also planting the roof with some sedum that was growing in patches all over our front yard. So in it goes along with some buckets of wet potting soil that were left out over winter, and mixed in a bucket of sand to help with dr...ainage. We'll see how long it takes to re-root and thrive again. Our guess is, not very long. Still thinking that we might make some gnome homes to add to the roof as a fun decoration. It could be a fun mosaic project, since it needs to withstand the elements. Hmm, tiny neighbours, coming soon! Also.. Stay tuned for news about our upcoming #SummerCamp in a Box Kit!! #smallbusiness #shoplocal #craftkits #onlinecraft #kidscamp #kidsart #artclasses #maker #makercamp #livingroof #curbsidepickup #covidlife

Finished building our Curbside Pick Up box just in time to be put to the test on this very rainy day! We started this project just before winter, and it was left to sit for months (can anyone else relate??) but we took advantage of the good weather this weekend to finally cross it off the to-do list. The shelf still needs painting, but we're too excited about this creation to keep it a secret any longer. ... Instead of adding a plain old boring roof, we decided to create a planter box and turn it into a living roof! Needless to say we are looking forward to seeing what we can grow in it this year. #livingroof #curbsidepickup #woodworking #pantoneprocessblue #mindfulmakers
