Mindful Restoration

These words will not come out as they should but I’ll try.....here we go. I’m starting to get it... All I can feel is gratefulness... I am sitting here and I am feeling the emotions and I like it and I’m Leaning into it. I am being present. I am looking at my children and looking forward to the holidays....watching them, encouraging them, and making memories with them. Thank you Jeff and Sonya for lifting me out of a pretty dark place and replacing it with hope, with love,... and with compassion for myself and others. I am a better person because of this training. And can I tell you, Jeff & Sonya of Mindful Restoration are 2 of the most incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, inspiring and gifted practitioners I have the honour of knowing. For years, my practice has been a deeply personal and protected one. I l...ove the physicality, the form and technique, the ability to become quiet and challenge myself, not anyone else. I thought I knew the poses..... at times however, it felt I was doing something altogether new!!!! However, the deepest and most profound experience for me, was being gently led to a place of intense self inquiry and discovery. Only when I have been somewhere, can I take others safely there. We just completed our final weekend of a 200 hour yoga teacher training all online! It’s amazing that we can still cultivate community and connection through the ethers. And I must say: in our 17 years of leading YTT, this was the most punctual group yet!
