Often we play a narrative in our minds that to do whatever it is that our heart desires that it must be difficult and hard to accomplish. For me this is a story that I work very hard in changing. I remember in high school a teacher said something around ‘finding out who you are’ and I had absolutely know idea what they were talking about. I felt like that comment haunted me for years and that I didn’t know what they meant and how was someone supposed to do such a thing. I’ve come to realize the last few years what this means for me. When I’m around someone and I feel like I’m holding back on saying something, maybe a joke or an opinion I’m not 100% being myself around that person. Be you and ‘your people’ will love you know matter how lame your jokes are or if they disagree with you. How has this shown up for you? #beyou #100%you #findyourpeople
