Like the Mind

On February 28th, we played a concert in Stockholm, Sweden. It seems like a lifetime ago. We were so lucky to have have gotten this residency and concert in under the wire and today, though the band is separated by over 7,000 km, we celebrate the time we spent together and the music we made four short months ago. Come hang out with the Canadian contingent of Like the Mind (Peggy Lee, Elisa Thorn, and Meredith Bates) this Saturday at the park! We're celebrating the release of our full length live album, Live at Fylkingen. It won't be the same without our Swedish cohorts (Lisa Ullén, Lisen Rylander Löve, and Emma Augustsson), but we will make some beautiful music as a trio and enjoy this time together, after so long. Well, here we are. The world is falling apart around us, yet the band plays on. Like the Mind has this musical offering to release into the ether for you and for us. Together we'll get through this, kicking, fighting, pushing, crying, listening, and loving, and, hopefully, we'll come out on the other side more healed and whole and true.
