Dear valued chicken connoisseurs, During these unpredictable times, Miner Family Farms will be moving forward with raising our first 2020 spring chickens. Although the world is changing rapidly due to COVID-19, we have secured our regular chicken feed source of corn, soy, wheat and canola meal. You can enjoy the same great tasting chicken that you have loved from Miner Family Farms. ... Due to uncertain financial times ahead, we are requesting your pre-order so that we can estimate our operating needs. Price per pound will remain $3.25/lbs. This is an economically friendly and safer way to fill your freezer! If you chose to order, We will have your order ready yearly in July. If social distancing is still in effect at that time, a text message will be made to you one week prior to your chosen pick up date with instructions as to how your chickens will be made available you. We are still going to be doing our regular fall batch. If your a fall customer, you’ll be notified when we are starting to raise those fall chickens with pick up dates.

It’s no 48.6 pounder as in years past, but the crowd is much smaller due to the times we’re living in. We will soon be putting in our order for baby Jakes and Jennys (chicks). Please let us know if you are interested. We only do a limited number of free range Turkeys each year. They’ll be ready the week before Canadian Thanks Giving for $3.00/lb. They usually dress out between 16-25lbs.
