Effective July 31st, 2020, our regional government has passed a mandatory mask by law for any person entering an indoor public facility. If you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a mask, or those under 5 years or age, you are exempt from this by law. Therefore, if we see you without a mask, we will assume you have a medical condition and will welcome you inside to support our business. Unfortunately Thirsty Mate will not be opening on May 1st, we are taking it day to day and will make an announcement when and if it is safe to open.

It has been a week and the woman who took the fish has not returned it. The video was quite long and I was unable to upload it. I was not sure how to edit it down to just when she takes the fish so I took snapshots of her and her friend and her in the act of taking the fish. The date stamp is incorrect. This occurred last weekend. The snapshots are not the bset but I'm hoping someone may recognise who these people are. Thanks for all your support

On the weekend a woman decided she needed a decorative fish we had hanging in our store. We have her and her friend on surveillance camera. We can plainly see her looking at the fish and when our employee goes to the back to get their meal she grabs the fish, tucks it under her clothes and walks out the door while her friend stays behind and waits for his food. We would like to give you the opportunity to return the item you took no questions asked before we follow through with posting your photo to Facebook and notifying authorities.
