Miramichi Lynx Minor Lacrosse would like to invite kids to our FREE spring introductory sessions starting indoors at the Lord Beaverbrook Arena (LBA), located a...t 101 University Avenue, Miramichi on Thursday, May 13th, 2021. We will be conducting sessions for 4 weeks on Thursdays at the LBA to introduce Lacrosse to the region’s youth. We will offer two sessions per evening, sorted by birth year as follows: 6:00-7:00 PM (2014 2011) 7:00-8:00 PM (2010 2007) These sessions will be limited to 20 participants per session. Depending on the numbers, the age groups may be adjusted as needed. The sessions are also to gauge interest in continuing into the summer. Our hope is that in June, sessions will move to the fields at Miramichi Valley High School and we will begin organizing a house league for kids to learn the game with small jamborees to play on some Saturdays. A list of equipment recommended for these sessions is below. Youth Night is starting back, this Friday October 9th for grades 5 to 12. Cost: $3 user fee.

Girls on the Move will be starting up on Thursdays October 15th to December 3rd at the Golden Hawk from 6:00-7:30pm. This is a drop in program for girls grades 3-8 to get active, be active & Stay active. $3 user fee applicable. For more info please call 623-2300.
