We had our annual Appreciation Lunch on April 6, 2019 - what a great opportunity to thank the many folks who contributed to the MRH Auxiliary ! As 2019 is our 100th year, we made this year's luncheon a special celebration. Guest speakers included Karen McGrath, president and CEO of Horizon Health Network, Joan Mador, president of the NB Association of Healthcare Auxiliaries, and Cassie Dolliver, Palliative Coordinator at our hospital. We were very happy to honour 15 current and former members with Life Membership in the Auxiliary. Life membership was awarded to: Geraldine Fitzpatrick, Rachel Butler, Shirley Donovan, Betty Doyle, Salome Legge, Wendy Matthews, Betty O'Shea, Mildred Savoy, Carol Anne Smythe, Carolyn Taylor, Debbie Whitney, Jeannie Bell, Winnie Matchett, Aileen Whitney, and Phyllis Hamilton.

Here is a picture of one of the tables and some chairs which have been refinished and are now in the hospital’s new geriatric unit. Didn’t they turn out beautifully ?

FURNITURE FOR SALE ! Do you remember the café which the auxiliary used to operate at the hospital? We are now selling some of the remaining furniture from that café. It is all solid oak. We have 5 regular chairs and one arm chair for sale the price for the chairs is $ 40 each... We also have 5 tables for sale 3 are octagon and 2 are drop leaf. the price for the tables is $ 200 each.
