Did you ever take a moment to wonder how our kids are feeling through this all? I know growing up being a young girl I had many fears of becoming sick, even with just your common stomach flu. My mind would race at the thought of ever needing to be in the hospital and other things made my stomach turn with anxiety. Kids these days are doing so so well with adjustments to their school days, birthdays, holidays and every single moment of their days surrounded by masks, talk and ...fear of the 'sickness' and likely not one day without the topic arising. A common phrase in our home is "When the sickness is over..." followed by the great fun we will have going to Ruckers, etc The next time you see your little get down to their level and ask them how they are doing today. I go day by day with my emotions on things and love having someone check in with me. These guys are doing so well and we must acknowledgement it! For the FIRST time yesterday Levi told me that she doesn't feel like going to school tomorrow because she doesn't want to wear her mask anymore. I do not blame you my girl, mommy doesn't even wear a mask all day. All the love to our littles! How are your kids doing with things??

Connect church has a wonderful relationship with local charities throughout our city and throughout the month of December they raised enough money to fill these gifts full to the brim. Dana and I delivered them on Christmas eve and they were opened Christmas morning!! Sanctum care group is an amazing home that cares for people diagno...sed with HIV/AIDS throughout our city. They provide care, offer support and love. The home has 10 rooms and so much outpour of love. Please share with me other ideas or ways of helping throughout our city that you like to get involved in.
