Good evening, Happy Friday everyone One of my lovely clients wrote to me today which has prompted this message. As she would say today is the last day of my marathon of work. I worked 8 straight days to try and catch up. I will say, the first day or so felt crazy. I laughed and cried and was welcomed back by some of the most amazing people so far. I have been so so blessed in this life and I have you all to thank for that. You have all provided me with love and understandin...g through this crazy time. Some of you lending an ear, checking in through or just simply wishing for a hug when walking through my door. The smiles from outside that I got to see before the mask went on was contagious and I thank you for making it easy to come back and work during this time. I will rest as best I can and be back to work on Monday for another good stretch of days. I look forward to seeing my next bunch of people. Love you all, thank you so very much. Well Folks it is 2 nights before opening day! It is kind of like Tibbs eve, or Festivus. Although without the friends and family close by. I have been in the salon every day for the last while. It has been an experience. I have had lots of emotions for a lot of different reasons. I have been trying desperately to find spaces for everyone and some of you I still have not been in touch with. I am pretty much all set with my proper PPE. Some things have not come in that I ord...ered and I have had to go and buy more somewhere else. Which seems to be the way for most of us. I am Anxious, sad, and teary leaving my babies again. I am happy to get back and find whatever new normal this will be. I am excited to see you all, I have missed you and all the chats, weather it is just plain silly, fun, life shit, learning and whatever other conversation finds itself in those walls. My elves are hard at work to get me up and running for June 5th!!!

A week from today I will be able to walk back into my salon. I will be able to say I survived the pandemic of 2020. My business has survived the pandemic of 2020. As anxious as I am to restart with all these new rules, I am super excited. I cannot wait to get back behind the chair and see my favourite people. The people that trust me, the people that keep me alive. I will forever be grateful for all of you. Please know I love you all from the bottom of my heart and you all are the reason I’m coming back. I look forward to the stories and smile behind masks. Someday in the future we will be able to hug, until then I send the best virtual hug ever to you all. Thank you for supporting me through so many ups and downs. I really couldn’t do this without you. J
