Hello Folks, Well, I checked the temperature for today 31C, sooooo I have decided NO BAKING TODAY!!!! Sorry folks it's just tooooo HOT TO PUT THE OVEN ON!! I will mix up a batch of Iced Coffee for tomorrow , and maybe some no bake dessert thingys. But I think I hear the BEACH calling me today. Sooooo I'm heading there now. Have a excellent weekend everyone! Hopefully next weekend I'll have some yummy desserts for you!... Hellooo Everyone! It's SUMMER!!!! Yeah! After serving Iced Coffee at last Fridays great party downtown , I was asked to continue to make it, soooooo... I made it again for this weekend,I will have a fresh batch for tomorrow,mmmmmmm I have to say,it is 'DELICIOUS '! Come down to The Artisan Collective, FrontSt Friday & Saturday 12-4, have a cuppa cold , homemade iced coffee, umm and a piece of Coffee Cake or fresh Butter or Mixed Berry Tarts or Chocolate Truffle Brownie. Enjo...y yer weekend!You'll need something sweet HAPPY CANADA DAY Miss Bren P/s I hear ButterTarts where invented in Canada! A true Canadian dessert! I made buttertarts & banana bread for the PrimeMinister when he came to Belleville, I was the caterer!He took them on the bus with his team hahahaha, you never know who yer gonna cook for! Well , that was quite the night !!! Downtown Solstice Party! Everyone out! Beauty of a night ! Great music, people being entertained, food everywhere ( scratch vanilla cake w fresh berries & real whipped cream, & iced coffee,that's what I served) ... A Successful night , thanks to those who came out tonight , it was busy and lots of fun!! Let's do it next month!!! I have some cake ,berries & whipped cream left for tomorrow's special, come to the Artisan Collective , it'll be even better 11-2. Cheers, Miss Bren

To all those Das, StepDads, FurDads, Grandfathers & The Men friends that step up for the kids, YOU ALL ROCK!! So ... maybe a treat for these guys are in order. I made by request, Orange Chocolate Loaves, Raspberry Brownies,Hellooo Dollies (a fav with the Men) & Apple Twists for today. ... Tomorrow as requested, Homemade Rice Pudding & Lemon Squares. If you a looking for something special for Dad, I have tonight to prepare, text or send message today. Let's hope Mother Nature gives Dad a break & the weather is nice. Started my new job this week with the Community Development Council as a assistant with the Good Food Market. It was hectic but very exciting to be part of this organization. Soooo... this is what I have so far for today more coming tomorrow.... Double chocolate brownies w pecans, old fashioned Butter tarts and my fav, Lemon strawberry cake with lemon glaze mmmmmmm, just outta the oven. Tomorrow, Raspberry pop tarts as requested (thanks Heather fer the idea) and some cookies ( not sure yet what kind). Enjoy this beauty weekend coming, hope to see you downtown @ the Artisan Collective, Front St. Cheers, Miss Bren
