Our Grade 11’s in the 20th Century History class organized the annual Genocide Memorial Assembly and the theme was Hidden Stories. Thank you for enlightening us with the stories you gathered from the community. L’histoire de l’humanité est marquée par plusieurs périodes sombres et violentes. Plus jamais d’horreurs, ni de morts inutiles, ni de racisme, ni de discrimination.
Our Entreprenuerial Platform teaches students to embrace a changing world. Our Grade 5 class has started a Subscription Box in support of animal welfare. Enjoy their video and visit their website http://www.bundlesofjustice.com/
Our French Department celebrated Journée du poème à porter by "wearing" a poem! On partage son amour de la poésie en affichant des vers sur soi. #poèmeàporter

Last week we celebrated Career Day at ECS. We want to inspire all of students to find their vocation in life. Instead of asking "What do you want to be when you grow up?" we ask "Who do you want to be when you grow up?". Thank you to all our guest speakers!

Last Thursday, our Middle & Senior students once again partnered with St-Mary's Hospital for the Girls for the Cure Walk. This empowering event brought together over 1000 girls from ECS, LCC, Sacred Heart, The Study and Trafalgar to raise awareness and funds to help fight women-related cancers. Although the event was a little different this year, the spirit of the event still shone through. Way to go girls! #GirlsfortheCure @stmarysmtl

It was lovely to see students, parents, alumnae and staff at this community fundraiser. Thanks to everyone who donated and came out to join in the fun. There really is "No Place Like ECS Home!"

Entrepreneurial Spirit in Action! An ECS student going into Grade 11 wanted a summer job that was safe and meaningful - so she created her own business. With the help and support of her family, Vanessa created a Pop-Up Shop that offers PPE and essential supplies during the pandemic. Her store is called Essentiels covid 19. If you need PPE for your business or family please support her business endeavour!
