MLT has a Co-Op student! Meet Logan Pugsley from Riverview High School! Logan is working with the Data and Analytics team to gain first-hand experience working in Data Science, where he hopes to work after his upcoming university studies. The 18-year-old, soon-to-be high school grad, is working on a sports data science/analytics project, from start to finish, focused on curling. In just over a month, he will be publishing a research paper on his findings and plans on starting... a blog where he will post updates as he continues to explore topics in sports analytics. Through his Co-Op, Logan hopes to learn a wide range of the skills he will need in his future career. "It is such a fantastic opportunity to be working with the Data and Analytics team at MLT!" - Logan Pugsley. This week, MLT welcomes our newest team member: Kris Ferenczy! Kris joins the MLT Telecom team as a Technical planner. Since the completion of his studies in 2009, he has spent the last decade working in the telecom industry. Starting his career in data collection and quickly moved into design. His previous experience in implementation of FTTH projects and providing instruction to the design teams with Bell and Rogers makes him a great addition to the team. "I’m looking forwa...rd to bringing field and permit experience to MLT and providing insight to continue to diversify and expand." Outside of work, Kris likes to spend as much time as possible with his lovely family. Additionally, he is a continuous learner. Diving into subjects like psychology, technology, electronics, and dog training. Welcome to the team, Kris!
