Human Trafficking is the fastest growing illegal industry in the world and the 3rd largest behind only Weapons Trafficking and Drug Trafficking. 2.Approximately 25-30 million people around the world are enslaved for sex and or labour. 70% are women and 20% are girls.... 3.Trafficking in the USA is a multi-billion dollar industry that increased 13% in 2017 from 2016. 4. Prosecution rates are extremely low in North America and globally. Out of the 155 countries surveyed by the UN Office of Drugs and Crime, 62 reported no arrests related to trafficking. 5. There is an globally informed army of people fighting against Human Trafficking. As awareness and resources grow, more can be done.
