We would like to thank members of the Stave Falls community, who cleaned up sections of Dewdney Trunk Road and their neighborhood this past weekend. 1455 lbs of litter and illegally dumped garbage were cleaned up!

We would like to congratulate the Mission Taekwondo Academy, who earned $400 for their sports group by participating in our Adapted Spring Clean-up Fundraiser Program. They managed to clean up 460 lbs of litter from Stave Lake Street and Dewdney Trunk Road! The awesome work of Mission Taekwondo Academy to keep our community clean is inspired by their goal to help every member reach Black Belt Excellence and to create community leaders one Black Belt at a time. Just a reminder that the District's Spring Cleanup starts today! Residents who have curbside garbage pickup can put out 2 cubic meters of garbage or larger items for pickup. Please note, not all items are allowed. Please note that TVs are not allowed, but can be recycled for free at either Mission Recycling or at Encorp Return-It Depot.
