This has certainly been an unusual season to say the least. Despite the circumstances, we at MCC were still able to have an amazing teacher’s workshop with Justin John Moniz, Tenor, were able to record and create virtual choir videos and have Maestro Denis Mastromonaco to present a workshop on Latin American music for our Senior Choir amongst other activities. This is only possible through the support of our families, sponsors and especially Mississauga Culture. As the Artistic director of MCC, I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. We started off our season with as many outdoor rehearsals as possible, and peppered in some fun workshops too! Here are our Junior and Senior choirs bustin' a move in a dance and musical theatre workshop led by our TC/JC conductor Emily Daquano! Choristers explored movement, character building and dance while making friends and staying safe!

We had such a great time on Wednesday with Dr. Tracy Wong, who did a virtual workshop with our Junior and Senior Choirs! We had the incredible opportunity to work on a Malaysian folk song which Dr. Wong arranged for MCC, which you may be hearing in our virtual gala concert this December. Thank you so much to Dr. Wong and all who participated!
