STATEMENT ON CORONAVIRUS EMERGENCY This is a personal note to our patients to let you know how Enfield Place Dental Centre is dealing with the Coronavirus emergency. The health and safety of our staff and patients is our top priority. We have implemented a number of sensible infection and prevention control policies which fall within the guidelines set by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario & Public Health Ontario. This includes rigorous sterilization protocols, r...outine hand hygiene, the use of personal protective equipment and properly cleaning and disinfecting all clinical surfaces that pose a risk to our patients’ safety. Furthermore, we have implemented the practice of pre-screening patients and visitors who appear to exhibit upper respiratory illnesses. Infection and prevention control is an important part of patient care and we will continue to evaluate, update and monitor our infection control strategies and protocols. As the severity of the emergency has become clearer over the course of the week, it is important that we all remain calm, mindful as we go through our regular activities and practice good hand hygiene. Our office will remain fully operational and our patients are encouraged to reach out to us if they have any questions or concerns.
