We get a lot of questions from people wondering when and where they can watch Christmas movies that have been filmed in Mississippi Mills. There are a few coming up! Click each image for date and stations info. These are Bell station numbers. If you have additional information from other cable providers please let us know and we’ll add it to the post.
Thanks to our generous community we just dropped 4004 pounds of food and $3255 in financial donations to the Lanark County Food Bank. If you didn’t have a chance to donate and would like to, you can drop off food or monetary donations at the Old Town Hall until December 21st.

2021 Budget Operating Budget Vs. Capital Budget Ever wonder what the difference is between operating budget and capital budget? The operating budget is a plan for the day-to-day operations at the Municipality and includes such things as salaries, utilities, materials and supplies, contracts, long term financing repayments, general maintenance and repairs, etc. ... The capital budget is the annual plan for the purchase and repair of the Municipality’s capital assets, such as infrastructure, lands, buildings, vehicles and equipment, and includes studies needed to support the capital budget for the year. For a more detailed description and examples of these items please visit www.mississippimills.ca under News and Public Notices or Public Engagement.

The 2020 Virtual Crown & Pumpkin Tour launches this Thanksgiving Weekend. View the exciting works of our participants online and contact them directly for purchase. Part of the great experience with previous Crown and Pumpkin tours has been the spectacular autumn scenery and the historic points of interest along the way. Whilst artist studios are not open this year, with the exception of Hummingbird Chocolate, you can still go for a drive on our country roads to drink in the atmosphere. The historic Clayton General Store will be open all three days and we have left our 2019 Tour Map on the website as a suggested route and historic points of interest can be found under Heritage. https://crownandpumpkin.com/
