Dance Closure Policy With the Winter months upon us to ensure the safety of all we have decided to implement the following: -When SSRSB cancels and closes schools DUE TO WEATHER we will also be closed. -If Dance falls on a weekend or a storm hits after school hours, we will always make a post regarding closing and of course always always use your own discretion. -Dance session fees are designed to allow for canceled days to be made up so you would never be out your money ... ****REGISTRATIONS STILL ACCEPTED**** Classes start tomorrow Sept 14th! 25% of the session is due to keep your spot as we are actually full in many classes & had to reassign dancers to different classes/discipline. Adults/teens classes starting tomorrow as well with Cardio Kick @ 7:30 pm. Bring a towel & water bottle. Competitive levels are full. Level II is from 4:30 to 7pm, instead of given time on the schedule. Contact us for any concerns or questions.

Our schedule is out! Check it out. Contact us for information on registration. Covid19 Policy & Protocols Until further notice, and to ensure safety for both Dancers and Instructors, new protocols will apply at La Vie en Danse Studio:... -Dancers must use hand sanitizer upon arrival, pick ONE hook to place their bag or jacket, and bring a water bottle with them. -Classes will end 10 minutes earlier to allow for proper departure, arrival & cleaning. See schedule for time changes. -Dancers must be picked up ON TIME and NOT dropped off more than 5 minutes before their assigned class time. - Dancers must be ready and in dancewear upon arrival. -There will be a maximum of 10-12 dancers per class, with a few exceptions where dancers are older and can more easily respect social distancing. -NO PARENTS will be allowed to stay in the studio nor the Foyer/Bench during class, at drop-off or at pick-up unless a talk with instructors is needed or dancer is less than 5 years old. - Mini Groovers: ONE parent is required to participate with their child and thus allowed to stay. -Certain particular cases specified and agreed upon at registration will be allowed ONE parent to stay in class (extreme anxiety, Down Syndrome, or any other medical reason; be advised that this needs to be discussed with the instructor at registration and a medical note might be required) -Competitive levels will remain as per 2019-2020. Further information and protocols will be sent for Competitive Levels. As of Friday, July 31, 2020 and until further notice - wearing a mask when coming in to La Vie en Danse Studio will be mandatory : Wearing masks for dancers is mandatory while not on the dance floor ie. required going in and out of the facility but not while training in the studio Wearing masks for the instructors and helpers is required while not on the dance floor, i.e. required in public areas of the facility but not while instructing on the dance floor Dancers and parents escorting their dancers to La Vie en Danse Studios entrance door will all be required to wear a mask. - Masks must remain on dancers until they are called in to the dance floor at the start of their class. - Masks will not be required to be worn while participating in a dance class. - Masks must be put on at the end of class prior to dancers exiting the studio. - Children under 2 are not required to wear masks We are hoping to have our usual 3 sessions dance season. We have put in place a new policy for payments: Session 1 From Sept 14th to Dec 19th 14 weeks 25% of prices required upon registration to secure your childs space in the class. LA VIE EN DANSE STUDIO IS GETTING READY TO REOPEN!!! FINALLY HERE!!! It took a little while to figure this out, but the schedule is here. Private & semi-private classes will start July 6th until August 31st (200$ for 8 weeks program) Classes will be 40 minutes to allow for proper departure, efficient cleaning of the studio and following dancers arrival. ... Only 3 spots per evening 5pm, 6pm, 7pm Monday to Wednesday (only a few spots left already!!!) Contact me ASAP to book your dancers time for the Summer. Discipline are YOUR CHOICE between Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary, Tap and Hip Hop. Age 8+ - Younger kids will be considered according to each particular dancer. Siblings/family bubbles will be considered for semi-private classes. If session 3 has already been paid in March, credit can be taken from those fees paid. As usual, I am open for discussions or concerns and will consider any suggestions. See more

We have been struggling back and forth with the re-opening of places as what we feel is best for us all. At this time we will not be opening for regular classes. It would be impossible to teach while maintaining the physical distance between all the dancers. We are working on how that will all play out for the Fall. If everything maintains in good standings we will focus on opening in September with many changes and smaller classes. With that said we are working on a gradual ...re-opening for private/sibling lessons. Schedule will be out early next week. Please understand this has been very challenging times and we are working on possibilities and might need to adjust according to regulations. As far as Recital, those gatherings are still not able to occur. We would not be ready to provide a performance either with the time we have missed and trying to practice now with all the rules and regulations. We can hold onto the hope for now that perhaps we could do a Fall or Winter one. Should you have any questions please reach out. We miss everyone and all the dancing. Hope to see some of you soon.

VERY IMPORTANT!!!! Due to the latest updates regarding COVID-19 now in NS and the closure of schools we will follow this protocol. We will be delaying the start of Session 3 until further notice. The studio is closed; we will keep you updated when we will re-open. Thanks for all your patience and support in this matter. Again the safety of all is what is important during this time.

Due to the growing concern of COVID-19, we are kindly asking anyone that is part of the studio and have or will be travelling outside the province to postpone coming to classes for at least the 14 day isolation period. We have always strived to maintain a clean and safe environment for all, so everyones extra help at this time is greatly appreciated. ... With that said, we are currently monitoring the upcoming Champions Dance Competition. They at this point have NOT decided to cancel. We will keep everyone updated as we get closer to the date. For anyone that is still in isolation for this time, Shany will make that call if that dancer or group will be able to preform. We will have a lot to consider for that decision to be made. Tonight is a tough call! Intro to lyrical & Level III classes are still on. But lyrical, contemporary & modern int. @7:15 is cancelled. Use your better judgement regarding driving to class.

Sunday February 16th. Our dancers will be showcasing a few dances to help raise money for the music program at the French School. Donations at the door.
