PLEASE NOTE: After a great deal of consideration, I have decided to take a hiatus from my business. I will not be taking on new clients (unless by referral from existing clients )or doing consultations out of the Birds and Bees at 72 Lakeshore Road East, though I still recommend you stop by there if you're in Port Credit...great clothes and accessories and the ladies there are wonderful! Not appropriate for children in some parts of the store though, as you might gather fro...m the store's name. I will still make myself available for existing clients so for those of you who have purchased from me before, please don't hesitate to contact me during this period. Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive the past two years...I don't yet know the direction I'm going to take but will post an update here when there's an update to post. Xo See more

Loving this...and it was 1955!

This girl is amazing - she's beautiful, charismatic and knows how to wear a wig! For someone dealing with alopecia at such a young age, Abby has a great attitude and is an inspiration. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBgZLQ8xh3LYMPAeP1mBpug

Copying this as it was just posted by Blondie Locks by Christine Lee: an article on alopecia in women. Hair loss of any degree can be such a traumatic thing for women (and men too!). While I now wear wigs only on occasion thanks to a very short cut that helps to mask my thin hair and hairline, I am comforted to know that if my hair does continue to desert me I have great alternative hair options. It is a massive relief to let go of the worry that consumed me with dread before trying wigs. They really do take the stress down a huge notch!

This woman has some great tips for wig wearing and styling on her Vlog...and she's got a great attitude too!

Meet "Scarlett" by Jon Renau...so popular that it has been on back order since being introduced in the spring, but this one is worth the wait (and they *are* catching up with demand). Just look at those beachy waves!! We currently have it in the beautiful blonde "Shaded Praline", seen below, and it's on display in the storefront window at The Birds & Bees - 72 Lakeshore Road East in Port Credit. Contact me to book a consultation!

Another great chart from Jon Renau that will show you different ways to attach/secure your wig...

Why not a wig for every mood? :)

Here's a great chart/guide (by Jon Renau) that shows you what is available and will help you to decide what may work best for you under your wig.

"Nadia" - a beautiful, flattering style by Envy Wigs, shown here in light brown.

Colour and style can make all the difference. "Bianca" by Jon Renau looks nice enough in the catalogue photos, but I hesitated on purchasing one because I wasn't in love with the style, and although I can usually see past it, this particular blonde didn't do anything for me. That changed as soon as I found a photo of it styled differently and in a different, medium brown shade...it's amazing how different the same wig can look! I'm waiting for this one to come in and hoping I will love it as much in person as I do in the photo, where I think it's just adorable! (Others may prefer the blonde...either way, as I've discovered many times all it takes is the right person to put it on and it will look wonderful)

Also new from Jon Renau this Spring..."Katherine"
