The Radium Hot Springs are wedged between a mountain and a creek at the bottom of a gorge. There is no telling when the springs were first found but by 1922 the... Radium Hot Springs were popular enough to be included in the newly established #KootenayNationalPark. By 1927 the springs popularity prompted a renovation and pool expansion and by 1949 nearly 1 million dollars were spent to build a complete new facility. #HistoryWeek2020
