Business musing for the day: Involvement and being dialed in. Once a business owner delegates too much to their staff and doesn’t verify the work is being done OR loses their connection to the work the Company does, it seems the Company tends to falter. The successful businesses I’ve worked with have owners that are involved and want to be. A clear indication of a business about to struggle or lose some ground (notice the fail word is not used here!) is when the owner gets distracted or stops checking in. This can be called passion I guess but my thought is there’s a better word for it. What would you call it?
