Hello friends of the farm! We have come to the end of our time as a farrow to finish heritage hog operation. This week we sent off our last run of pigs, and we’re definitely feeling all the feels! This was our 7th year raising these wonderful animals- we actually bought our first set of breeding stock before we had finished the house! We are humbled by all we have learned from raising these animals and are so grateful for the joy they brought into our family life. Thanks al...so to you all, our loyal customers in the restaurant world and otherwise, we couldn’t have done it without you. It was not only the pandemic that has forced our hand here, but it sure didn’t help, as the restaurant industry was a huge part of our market. We will be receiving the last run cut and wrapped pork this week, and are offering bundles of 10, 20, and 30lb bundles at $7.50/lb. in each bundle you get a mix of bacon, chops, ground, roasts and sausage.
