How do you see the world? I've always been amazed at how Floyd Elzinga -Artist gives a unique perspective on everyday sights. it was fun to take a closer look at his craft through the Laowa by Venus Optics probe lens. Which if you aren't familiar with the lens is a wide angle, macro lens that makes small worlds look large. It's wildly fun to film with! Let us know what you think of it & Floyd's art. Can you spot the difference between a pro photo and a video still? Oftentimes our clients will ask for stills of our videos for social or web or marketing... And sometimes it works, but deep down we know that if we had foresight, having a professional photographer take a still makes a WORLD of a difference! When we pause video production for photography, we stage the actor, the setting, the props and set up lighting suited for commercial grade images. It's awesome. I mean, just look at @corduroypaco . Who is your audience? Whether it's making a video, creating a social media post or sending an email - always ask "Who is my audience?" Who are you hoping to reach think age, gender, profession, geographical state, preference in Netflix shows The clearer image you have of your people. The easier you can talk to them. Can I use humour? If so, what kind? For instance, if you're selling a vacuum cleaner, who cares if the ad appeals to teenagers. They aren't your target audienc...e. Similarly, don't use Hanson references when communicating with high schoolers... Nobody remembers boring. At least not in the way you'd want to remember you when building a brand or mission or purpose or romantic relationship... And that's how we approached our new website.
