Greetings From Lacasse Art, Question of the day... Can a mural be painted over ceramic tile ? Absolutely This piece was just completed, using 2 coats super stick acrylic primer, colour matched to the limestone ceramic colour. The Mural was then painted, and sealed with a Saman water based satin floor finish. Triple coated with a sponge.... Another fun collaboration with client, the wine’s bottling date was replaced with the couple’s wedding date. Who says you can’t cook with your art? See more

Hello from Lacasse Art! Please enjoy the finishing touches and completion pics on last week’s condo mural. From Paris, Venice, and now, Time Square New York! Our Client wished to express herself by including video screen adds of imaginary businesses ( please note the FurBabies Spa add, which included her children’s pets!) ... The image was kept purposely in monochrome tones with splashes of colour in certain areas of the wall. This BIG APPLE is highly detailed, and took over 9 days to complete on site. Makes for an interesting and unique conversation piece! Stay Inspired, Martin

Dear friends, Here is the Mural Pic of The Week. Time Square, New York . This big apple has been on the palate for 6 days. The photos shown depict day 3. Still in progress, the piece is presently being created in close collaboration with the client’s desire for platinum greys to complement the upscale condo’s ultra modern theme.... As the mural develops further, pops of vibrant colour will be added to the design. More to come. See more

Here is the initial concept drawing that was developed on paper. This design had to compensate for two exit doors, a window, and some piping on the wall, including lighting fixtures. These would have to be camouflaged in the work. Please note the back of the card player’s shirt, as well as the 8 ball.
