MJM celebrated our 41st. year in business February 1st. 2021! Seems like only yesterday we celebrated day 1!!

COVID-19 REOPENING PROTOCOL MJM is reopening Monday, June 15th 2020. Welcome back to our practice! At MJM we are ensuring the safety of everyone who enters our practice.... Prior to re-opening, our office has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized and will be sanitized throughout the day. During our daily operations we will use DISINFECTANTS to clean all touch areas and all examination rooms will be thoroughly DISINFECTED between clients. The office will be professionally cleaned each evening as well. Upon entering our office non-medical FACE MASKS will be MANDATORY. A hand washing station and hand sanitizers are provided throughout the office. Please observe social distancing. Our staff will be wearing masks, gloves and possibly face shields. We have added protective shields at our front and back counters. Due to the nature of our practice and the requirements of Provincial guidelines, we will be limiting the number of people in our office as well as the duration of the visit. All clients will be seen by appointment .We will endeavor to keep our bookings to about one half hour. We will encourage a no touch environment wherever possible. We have a protocol for enjoying the sampling of our eyeglass frames. Efforts will be made to maintain the 2 meter physical distancing with our clients. We will, at present not be conducting any new contact lens fittings for those who have never worn contact lenses. Clients will be reminded of these protocols during the booking of their appointment. If you have experienced any of the following we will reschedule your appointment for a later date. Have you: Been diagnosed with COVID-19 Been in contact with anyone who is known to have COVID-19 Been outside Canada in the last 14 days Been in contact with anyone who lives or works in a long-term care facility in the last 14 days Felt unwell or had ANY of these symptoms: Fever above 99.7F or 37.6C Aches and pains Dry cough Shortness of breath Sore throat Runny nose Diarrhea Thank you for your loyalty, patience and kindness.
