Warren’s Nashville Tele needed a stronger Minibucker Neck and Stacked Strat Middle to keep up with his SD Lil’59 Bridge pup. He’s says: Installed, and the Mini Humbucker is absolutely amazing! Lots of definition but warm and just plain excellent. The strat pickup now sounds...well like a nice single coil! And much better balance with the little 59 for sure! Fred’s 7-String Stacked (hum-cancelling) Strat Neck Pickup is ready for his Schecter Diamond Series 007. To accommodate the cover height correctly, we added a custom Richlite insert spacer Looks great and mounts with no problems

There’s something satisfying about Rebuilding and bringing these old Vintage pups Back To Life! Ryan sent us the casing, ring and baseplates for his Vintage Saturn Hollowbody pickups so we made new Custom Inserts, Bobbins and Coils They can really sing now

This very custom 3 Acoustic Soundhole pickup is being made for David @ Gilmore Guitars. When making a Custom Pickup sometimes we need to reverse engineer and put the parts together before we actually make the pickup itself. All the pieces fit here, so we can now continue

This very unique MJS Acoustic Soundhole pickup was made for Todd at Royal Harp Instruments. Vintage looking with the Filtertron-Style Gold Foil - We made a custom Richlite bracket and clamping system. Still using our Split Coil Neodymium humbucking design with adjustable polepieces.

Burke’s Yanuziello 8-String Pearl Lap Steel is all done! Just had to deepen the cavity to accommodate a Custom MJS Stacked Hum-cancelling 8-String pickup - Now it’s totally noiseless with plenty of power to spare

The Rik-o-Nater Tele is born Equipped with our MJS Staple-Style pickups. Special thanks to Rik Emmett for donating the Tele Body and Nathan Whitney for donating the Tele Neck for this Experiment ! We made these pickups to get a bitey Single Coil tone with a few more mids than your classic Tele pups but less mids than a P90 style pickup under a humbucker-sized cover. It’s a very articulate pickup but allows a creamier gain because of the extra mid frequencies. It looks pretty cool too! Stay tuned a video sample coming soon.

Nicolas’ and Samuel’s Acoustic Soundhole pickups are all done . These where made so they can run the 2 bottom bass strings (E&A) as a separate hum cancelling baseline signal - prewired to an endpin jack. Pau Amarello and Black Walnut covers - Enjoy guys!

These pups were made for Cameron’s New 7-String Build and it’s going to be a Metal Machine - This Combo is made specifically to Rip Your Face Off!! Major power for the Bridge position to Push his Amp - Power and Articulation in the Neck and Middle in order to Cut. [MJS Rainbow-7 Bridge at a whopping 21.7K with a special 3 Neodymium Bar magnet; Neck MJS Humbucker-7 with Individual AL5 Magnets @ 12.0K ohms; Middle MJS Big Single Retro-7 @ 12.0K ohms]. The Inductance is Crazy

Paul’s Reverend Warhawk 390 is ready to rock with tones galore!! 2 MJS Stacked Big Singles for the Neck & Middle and a Rotary in the Bridge. The Push-Push pot installed on the rear tone control allows for 7 positions - Bridge + Neck or all 3 are added. Really dig these Reverend guitars!

Challenge Accepted - New 8-String Lapsteel pickups all done for James! His ‘50’s National Lapsteel Double Neck now has 2 Custom MJS Black Earth Humbuckers that split/tap with a Push-Push switch built into the pickup casing. Goldfoil Grill covers made from Richlite and installed back onto the Original Base Assembly. Totally kick-ass!
