DIRECTOR of COACHING Announcement! Hello ALL LTPD & COMPETITIVE Team Coaches and Managers. It gives me great pleasure to let you know MLCFC has appointed David Brown to the position of Director of Coaching on our 2021 Board of Directors.... David is a football fanatic with a strong passion for promoting and coaching football to players and coaches of all ages. David has held many roles in football ranging from head coach of varsity boys/girls high school teams, co-technical director of a competitive soccer club in Ontario, and recently the assistant coach of Trent University men’s soccer. David holds his USSF C License and FA level 2 coaching badge. David will be available to help you plan team-training strategies and would welcome the opportunity to attend your teams’ training sessions. Feel free to reach out to David with questions or just to talk footy !! All ECOSA clubs will be attending a virtual meeting onTuesday March 2nd to learn about potential options for our LTPD and COMPETITVE teams playing opportunities for the 2021 outdoor season. When we have all of the information to share with you we will schedule a coaches ZOOM meeting to present you with the options. David will also attend these meetings so you will be able to meet him and ask him any questions you may have. MLCFC wishes to extend our thanks and appreciation to Hugo Lehmann who has acted as our Director of Coaching for the past several years. Hugo felt that it was time to step down from this role but thankfully is remaining on our Board of Directors as an Executive Director at Large. I know you all join me in welcoming David to our Club! *2021 OUTDOOR HOUSE-LEAGUE SEASON* MLCFC is constantly monitoring the current pandemic news and is busy behind the scenes preparing for the 2021 Outdoor Season. *INDOOR MIXED LEAGUE * As a result of the Provincial Stay at Home order, the indoor league remains postponed until Further Notice. We are hoping to get the go ahead to start on February 15th. Stay tuned for further updates.

Ontario Soccer announced yesterday that all soccer activities are suspended for 28 days. Our Indoor League has now been postponed until February 1st. 2021 More details to come in January. Happy Holidays to you all. Here’s to a happy and healthy 2021!
