Beerwell Slugger 10 of 10 Name: Rory Landy Team: SportZone Pink HRs: 17 Bats: Left... Bio:It is the last MLSB slugger to profile and it is brought to you nice an early. MLSB hopes you are not reading this in bed since there is nothing more terrifying then waking up to Rory Landy in your bed. Rory made a miracle recovery from a mid-season hip surgery and decided to be a last minute addition to the derby. He has 17 dingers for SportZone this year which makes him the only MLSB player to have more dingers than their IQ Score. Congrats Rory, your award is in the mail. Rory is known as the guy who takes two pitches and swings for the fences on the third. Sometimes the magic happens but more often than not it doesn't. Rory got off to a hot start this year and quickly jumped to the top of leader board. However, Rory's reputation for not lasting proceeded to be true and the dog days of July showed his true colors where he looks like ''A-rod'' from last summer . Does this old Yankee still have what it takes? If you are startled by an old creepy irish man peeing in the bush on Saturday it is probably Rory and MLSB apologizes ahead of time (see picture below). PREDICTION Rory will swing at the first pitch and throw out his hip whether that ball lands over the fence is unknown. Beerwell Slugger 9 of 10 Name: Graham Kitching Team: RWB Red, Crossroads Crimson HRs: 9, 7 Bats: Right... Bio:Graham Kitching is the oldest man running in this year's derby, at 42 years of age (if you don't believe us, just check out his dad bod). Graham has been attempting to graduate Laurier for the past 12 years, but just hasn't got a handle on first year microeconomics. Graham's season has been a whirlwind to date and he is super happy to have made the list for the derby. In his words he "just wants to get a sweet insta with the boys so he can caption "easy on eyes, hard on balls"." When he told his family about the nomination they were so in disbelief that he had to send them a picture to really prove it. Apparently he wasn't a very good athlete as a kid.... But Graham has peaked in life at the right time leading his RWB Red team in homeruns and battling to keep them at the top of the Tues/Thurs league. PREDICTION Graham will hit one dinger that the wind carries over the fence. Make sure to check out his stats below and if he is your guy make sure to bet on him

Beerwell Slugger 8 of 10 Name: Mitchell Ellul Team: SportZone Pink, TEAMLTD Denim HRs: 17, 5 Bats: Right... Bio:Mitch is arguably the best overall player on SportZone (if you ask him). The guy pitches, hits homeruns, and is a wall on third base. Smashing a total of 17 homeruns while batting not in the top five in the batting order is an impressive feat, especially when you consider he's the smallest in the derby (in more ways than one). However, one must question his performance with TEAMLTD and only five homeruns. How can one player be so dominant with one team but with another have less homeruns than Drew Long Neck Padovan? His lackluster performance with TEAMLTD (possibly linked to the underwhelming captaining skills of Kevin Bhawnani) makes one question whether he can bring it everyday. He is such a good pitcher he is pitching for three other sluggers (Ryan , Kyle and Shaver). The influence he has with pitches puts a huge target on his back. One thing for sure it Mitch will have an impact on the derby in one way or the other. PREDICTION Mitch will hit 3 dingers then throw out his arm pitching for everyone else. Beerwell Slugger 7 of 10 Name: Adam Shaver Team: SportZone Pink, TEAMLTD Denim HRs: 18, 19 Bats: Left... Bio:Legend has it that Shaver hit two dingers on WP4. That is a 340 foot bomb. Twice. He is one of the few sluggers this year to hit 4 bombs in a game and he did it twice in the same week. This guy has been known to go yard but is also know for some high pop-ups (one has still yet to hit the ground). At first glance Shaver looks like a ferocious slugger sporting his famous man bun, but when you meet him you'll soon find out hes scared of boats, spiders, flying, water, and especially vegetables. PREDICTION Shaver will hit 5 dingers or will hit 5 massive pop-ups. Make sure to check out his stats below and if he is your guy make sure to bet on him.

Beerwell Slugger 6 of 10 Name: Ryan Lackey Team: SportZone Pink HRs: 14 Bats: Right... Bio:It is Ryan Lackey's third year in MLSB and he will be making playoffs for the third time. He was part of the famous third year fox orange who is the only third year team to date to win a playoff game. Lackey is more known for defence and is considered one of the best shortstops in the league. However, Lackey has really found his swing this year and notched a career high of 14 dings with 3 games left. Lackey taught Kevin Youkilis everything he knows including his batting stance. Lackey favourite pre-game meal is a nice corn on the cob (extra salty). Interesting enough, he never takes a bite instead, he just licks its for a few hours.
