Joyeux Noël tout le monde!!! Brookston and I had a great time visiting The Stewart School - UCDSB this afternoon. Looking forward to another visit in the new year!

Le 26 juillet était une journée spéciale pour la famille Baronette... Brookston Laurence Baronette a été né à 7h50 le matin et pesait 8 livres et 6 onces. Nous sommes tous très heureux qu’il est enfin arrivé! Bonne rentrée aux élèves de Stewart et j’espère faire une visite avec le bébé dans peu de temps! ***N’oubliez pas de montrer à votre nouvel enseignant comment vous pouvez parler en français!!! Don’t forget to show your new teacher how you can speak in French!!!***

A big merci to Mrs. Capello who supplied in Room 110 earlier this week. It was lovely to return to some thoughtful cards with kind wishes for Madame and baby the following day!!!

Les entrevues... This afternoon students in Grade 2/3 used technology to record an interview with a peer. Lots of smiles, and even more French, as the editing process took place!!!

Les identités secrètes... This week, 5 secret identities were posted around the classroom for students in Grade 2/3 to explore. In pairs, students circulated to uncover the identities of each character using a set of specific questions. From the Big Bad Wold to the Third Little Pig, students acted as great detectives during this fun activity!

Please remember that students are not dismissed until 3:25 (the second bell at the end of the day). Further, they are not allowed to leave school property until... the second bell unless they have been signed out and are accompanied by a parent/guardian.
