Hi Everyone! In some exciting news, WATiMake will be back in the Fall term (sort of). We’ll be slowly resuming some capabilities in the lab at a reduced capacity. At this time, we’ll only be accepting 3D printing and laser cutter jobs to be completed by WATiMake Staff. This can be accomplished by sending your job request along with the appropriate files (e.g. DWG, STL, HVS or Preform file, etc.) to [email protected]. Please make sure to include any instructi...ons on how the job should be printed or cut. The more information you provide the better! Once we receive the job file, we will follow up with you to let you know that we have received the file and to ask some clarifications if required. Once the job is complete, we will contact you to coordinate pick up and payment for the parts. Pick up days will be coordinated for Monday, Wednesday or Friday mornings from (9-12). Jobs will only be fabricated twice a week, with cutoffs Sunday night and Tuesday night. There will be no change in price at this time.

Hi Everyone, There have been many developments in recent days with new information coming out. In accordance with departmental and university policies, WATiMake and the other MME labs will be shut down effective immediately. If you had any of the machines booked your bookings will, unfortunately, be cancelled. ... Extended hour access to our labs will also no longer be available due to limited personnel on campus. The meeting rooms will also not be available and any bookings will be cancelled. If you have any parts or equipment on campus and require access to them, please contact me to arrange a time to retrieve it.
