Wow...what a whirlwind of a summer! When COVID hit back in the spring, I didn't exactly know what was in store for us. I made the difficult decision to close the meal service in April as our rental kitchen was closing forever and the back and forth became too much with considering the safety and health of my clients as it has always will be my #1 priority. While I thought it might be a quiet summer of getting our own kitchen ready and doing a few bookings here and there, as y...ou may have noticed...we've been busy! We got to spend the summer... Helping our amazing clients with in-home meal prep. With traditional 'take-out' not possible due to COVID, I spent a lot of time in-home with my personal clients making sure their fridges were stocked with delicious, nutrient-dense food to get them through this hectic time. Helping you celebrate with in-home private parties. From baby showers to foodie birthday parties, we helped our incredible clients celebrate their milestones with close friends and family in the comfort of their own homes. Relaunching our Mmmystery Dinners! These are a BLAST! From our fire-side August Feast Al Fresco to our swanky September Speakeasy we wined and dined our guests in a socially-distanced manner - this took off so well we are planning one monthly now! And of course....I filmed a COOKING SHOW! Simply Cooking by MmmChef aired the first weekly episode of 12 back on September 13th on @rogerstvOttawa local cable channel 22 and I couldn't be more excited about this opportunity. It was a lot of hard work but seeing myself on TV with my own cooking series is an absolute DREAM come true! While this summer didn't go exactly as 'planned' (with kitchen renovations still delayed) we feel so grateful for the opportunities to serve the #ottawa community. Client relationships are the foundation of my success and I will always prioritize what my clients truly need over other projects.
