Hey everyone, I'm Monica! For those of you who know me I've always been a crafty person! Over the Christmas holiday of 2011, I decided to give crocheting a try. After teaching myself from YouTube videos and an old "Learn to Crochet" book given to me by my great grandma I fell in love with it! I ended up taking a bit of a hiatus in 2017 after having my oldest son Ashton. I was a new, busy Mama and to be honest I had kind of fallen out of "love" with crocheting. ... Then the year 2020 happened. Yes COVID! Otherwise known as "The Year We All Stayed Home". I was now a Mama to two boys (one being an infant) and was at home each and everyday! While I love being a Mother, it felt like all I was doing was keeping two humans alive! lol; and I felt like I was in a sense, losing a bit of my own identity. Which brought me back to my love of crocheting! I love creating a unique product for myself, my kids and others that represents their own personal style! So if you're still reading this, THANKS! The perfect summer accessory!

This was another custom order I did for a friend's twin nephews Birthdays! . . I had some trouble finding the perfect colour of yarn for these guys. Luckily a good friend of mine has the most amazing yarn collection and was able to get me the perfect match! She may also be a huge Minion fan! Lol. .... . I've been working away at creating a larger version of the Mini Boho Bag. I wanted something that was big enough to hold a small wallet and phone but small enough to not get in the way, while out running errands; and here is the final product! Made of 100% cotton, this bag has great texture to create the perfect boho look! . . These bags will be added to the shop this week! (limited number available). It's been a minute since I shared my progress of #therosewoodcardigan . Well to say it's taking me forever would be an understatement! Lol . . Between crochet orders, looking after the kiddies and house work I just haven't had much time to work on it. But I am happy to report that I've completed the back panel of this cardigan! Any guesses on how many stitches are on this beauty??...15,400!!! No wonder it took me so long! .... . I am now on to the front panels and with having a little bit more free time over the next few weeks, I hope to get it done a little faster!
