BIB is honoured to announce that we will be presenting our design idea to the ENG 3100 class Monday March 28th at 8:30 am in THRN 1200. We welcome anyone who is interested in hearing more about the design to come out and ask questions!

This infant warmer made of phase changing materials keeps babies at a regulated body temperature without requiring electricity! The full spec sheet can be found at the WHO's 2014 Compendium of Innovatiove Health Technolgoes for Low Resource Settings.

We have currently completed a preliminary design phase. As we progress through our final design of the BIB please feel free to offer suggestions or comments!

Doctors without Boarders has been able to provide us real images of the types of terrain BIB will have to traverse in order to reach our babies and mothers. BIB is grateful for the international collaboration taking place for the success of this project!
