The first music video/short film I ever shot for an artist has so far been making selection lists for some American film festivals. This is some good news as many local festivals have been postponed or straight up cancelled. The whole project was a huge learning and experimental experience. Was flying by the seat of my pants the whole time! This goes to show that you can make something in the horror genre with no gore at all (like many classics from the past), add some comedy..., and make the final cut work. Previewers have all told me that the whole thing has an 80’s vibe to it and that it all goes by way too fast. Not bad things to hear at all. The recent months have been very tough for a lot of artists and sole proprietors as well as small, medium, and large businesses. This sole proprietorship is no exception. With that being said, I'm trying to stay optimistic and feel that there may soon be a change for the better. For a while MpMp has been on Yelp Edmonton's top 10 list for video/film production. Recently it has been added to Best in Edmonton's top ten list. I'm thankful to have been selected for these lists a...nd remain focused on improving my skillsets and quality of work. I've been further developing my abilities in the realm of digital and celluloid mediums, shooting aspects, visual and audio effects, motion graphics, and more. I do look forward to working with whoever needs my services in the near future. Let's all do our part to make things better than the old normal was.
