Let me (re) introduce myself With some beautiful new faces here I wanted to take a moment to share a few facts about me. I am Katrine, a Registered Nurse, Entrepreneur, Mama, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Friend, & Multiple Miscarriage Survivor. ... I am also a Cheerleader for Women who are navigating how to prioritize their skin health. It always runs so much deeper than just that outer layer. It’s a feeling. An experience. Confidence. Taking back control of your needs, both inner and outer. As I reflect on my career I am so grateful for every opportunity and clinical environment I have worked in. The first 7 years of my career were in Obstetrics and Labour and Delivery at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. I also worked at an OB/GYN’s office and at a fertility clinic. After living abroad in the UK for a year and a half I took a position at the Georgian Bay Family Health Team and ran the Ontario Telemedicine Network program. I started that program from inception and it grew rapidly. I quickly realized that an entrepreneurial role was something I absolutely loved! After 5 years I moved to a Regional Manager position with the Ontario Telemedicine Network and managed 22 key accounts. Following the birth of my daughter, life took me on a path of joining my husband in his business for a short time. Talk about a crash course in becoming an entrepreneur! Medical Aesthetics was on my mind for so long but having a baby did not come easy for me. That took priority in my life and I focused on continuing to grow in the above positions along the way. Then, in the fall of 2019 I knew it was time. After 5 miscarriages, I had my miracle baby and the physical journey was behind me. I was ready to put my goals first and I enrolled in the educational course needed to pursue a career in the medical aesthetics industry. Launching a business in 2020 was challenging to say the least, but after a 20 year nursing career I have found exactly what I was meant to do. What that voice inside my head kept driving me towards, and nothing was, or is going to stop me. Thank you for being here. Happy Mother’s Day Wishing all of the incredible Mother’s a wonderful day full of love, hugs and time spent celebrating you. For me, the gift of motherhood is something I cherish beyond any words I could put into this caption. It was a difficult journey becoming this beautiful little girls Momma. Today I hold space for those going through difficult times becoming a Mom, who have lost a child, or whose Mom is no longer with them ... I’ll be spending the day, as I do every day, in awe of my precious child, with a grateful heart that I get to be her Momma. I will also be celebrating my Mom, who is just simply the best @ Collingwood, Ontario
