Job Description We have 3 positions available: Full-Time Barber, Full-Time Hairstylist, Part-Time Salon Assistant... Barber Position: Applying lather, shaving beards, and hair contour (outline) on the neck and temple using a razor fades, Shampooing, Massaging neck, face, or scalp. Keeping the barbershop area clean and ensuring that the working tools are sterile and always in good working condition. Knowledgeable in today's styles and grooming techniques. Must be able to use clippers and single-use straight blade razors. Hairstylist Position: Must be able to do foils, colors, and up to date with the latest trends. (Training in Pravana hair color provided) Should be able to style female client's hair with hot tools. Should be able to do perms on both men and women. Should be able to cut and style men's hair. Must be able to use clippers. Willing to learn new techniques. All candidates will be required to perform a hair service during their interview. Please ensure that you have a model and equipment, products will be supplied. Hair Salon Assistant Position: Must be enrolled in a Hairstyling Course Must be able to cut foils, assist with colors, and up to date with the latest trends. Should be able to shampoo hair. Should be able to assist with perms. Should have basic knowledge of a salon setting. Willing to learn new techniques. The ideal candidate will be our receptionist/salon assistant and will gain extensive knowledge in a salon setting.
