Ontarios mandatory entry-level training (MELT) program is evolving, but continues to play a leading role in truck driver training.

In the coming year there will be a standard for entry-level training for commercial drivers in Canada to help ensure drivers have the necessary knowledge and skills to safely operate commercial vehicles.
