Resident's enjoyed our Country Fair

This is Dana. You will see Dana when you first enter Moira place smiling and greeting whoever walks in the front entrance answering phone calls and directing families and staff to their person of need. Dana is an "Everyday Hero" working at Moira Place at the front desk for the past 2 years. Thank you for your efforts and willingness to help out!

This is Victoria. Victoria has worked at Moira Place for the past 2 years in our Dietary Services. Victoria is known for her upbeat personality throughout the home. Another co-worker commented She knows how to bring people’s spirits up by her presence and attitude! Thank you Victoria for your positive energy and efforts; we appreciate having you!

Moira Place joins 4th Annual Harvest Festival Scarecrow Competition! Resident's enjoyed creating scarecrows and decorating display outside. We were pleased to place 3rd in the competition for local businesses'. Way to go! Fun was had by all embracing fall activities.

This is Jessica, one of our everyday heroes dedicated to the highest level of quality care and service at Moira Place. Jessica is known around here for her work ethic and willingness to always help out. Residents and staff alike love her. Thank you Jessica!

Tanya is another "Everyday Hero" at Moira Place. Tanya has been at Moira Place since the opening in 2009. She is an exceptional multitasker working both in Env...ironmental Services as well as Dietary. Around work Tanya is considered to be an amazing helper. Tanya is reliable to help any staff member or resident in need. Tanya's favorite thing about Moira Place since she has worked here is the "Teamwork". She states "I have always been so pleased how each staff member is always willing to pitch in and help another staff member or a resident in need".

This is Jessica. Jessica has worked at Moira Place since 2009. Jessica's primary role is in Life Enrichment where she works day to day lightening resident's lives with activities. Jessica is super resourceful, knowing what is going on with community events and bringing these great ideas back to our home. Her favorite thing about her job she states is, "Bringing happiness and enjoyment to each resident". Your efforts do not go unnoticed. Thank you Jessica, one of our many "Everyday Heroes".

This is Laura. Laura has worked at Moira Place since 2012 as an RPN (Registered Practical Nurse). Laura's favorite thing about her job is the "family feel" of Moira Place, the resident's and staff members feel more like family to her. A fellow staff member commented in regard to Laura, "Laura is an exceptionally caring person and worker who goes the extra mile for others".
